Warning: This page contains spoilers for the Jeopardy game dated November 25, 2022! — Please don’t scroll down if you don’t want to be spoiled. Please note that the game will air as early as 12:00 in some US television markets.

Here’s today’s Final Jeopardy (in category States and the Census) for Friday November 25, 2022 (Season 39, Game 55):

The 2020 census gave Montana a second seat in the US House of Representatives; The most populous district that attracts tourists grew 11%

(correct answer among candidates)

Today’s Danger! Attendees:

HollySmitha writer and editor originally from Toledo, Ohio
Holly Smith at Jeopardy!
Sam Papuhaa graduate student from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Sam Papuha on Jeopardy!
Cris Pannulloa Customer Success Operations Manager from Ocean City, New Jersey (14 days total: $487,923)
Cris Pannullo on Jeopardy!

Andy’s thoughts before the game:

Yesterday, Cris Pannullo put on his most dominant performance yet, adding over $70,000 to his total. Today your challengers are Canadians Sam Papuha and Holly Smith.

Today it gets interesting in relation to preemptions. ABC airs college football most of the day, and CBS hosts college football during the day. FOX will broadcast the World Cup during the day and the UCLA Cal game in the late afternoon/early evening. You’ll notice I didn’t say NBC. If you’re in the Tupelo, Mississippi area today, you’re in luck, because NBC is the only network without first refusal today, and WTVA premieres today – at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time. Other lucky areas today include St. Louis, Minneapolis, Austin, Oklahoma City, Pittsburgh and Detroit. At least Sam isn’t being prejudged up in Edmonton.

I also don’t know when today’s results will be published here on the site; I’m hoping for sometime in the afternoon but there’s a chance they won’t be posted until 7:20pm EST.

PSA: The best way to keep COVID-19 at bay (and keep Jeopardy! producing new episodes) is for everyone to get vaccinated as soon as possible, including any recommended booster shots. When wearing a mask, please make sure your mask covers both your nose and mouth.

Yellowstone County (County Seat Billings) is the most populous county in Montana; While Yellowstone National Park is primarily in Wyoming, the park extends into Montana and Idaho. The northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park is about 100 miles from Billings, Montana. It is widely believed that both Yellowstone National Park and Yellowstone County are named after the region’s Yellowstone River (one of the major tributaries of the Missouri River).
